Booster Meeting MINUTES
From February 9th 2010

7:05 meeting called to order
Attending: Rhonda J., Patricia, Barb, Roberta Morrison, Melody, Lori, Rose, Tom

• Welcome by the President, Rhonda Johnston
• Review and approval of minutes: Accepted – Barb, 2nd - Pat
• Treasurer’s report –  absent, will email end of the week
• Calling of all bills - none
• Fundraising Updates:
• PAST
• Sees Candy – Becky – Going really well!  No due date
• Superbowl Bakesale for Drumline – Rhonda J. – made $164.50
• Jamba Juice for Colorguard – Robbin - absent
• Drumday – only 1 donation (Kaya)
• Rummage Sale – Tom or Fran – Great success!  8 people from drumline participated.  Basketballs’ burritos went well
• FUTURE
• Jamba Juice / Hot Chocolate/After School – Robin
• Cook-off (funds to go to Colorguard) – anymore info on this? Next year
• Valentines Bake Sale – (funds go to Drumline) – Great success!
• See’s Candy Bars – Becky
• Script – Becky
• Shakeys Restaurant night – Robin
• Any suggestions on other fundraisers we could do?
• Basketball-Vegas turnaround
• Cow Chip Bingo – w/more groups like the rummage sale.
• Bowling in March to student accounts.
• 3 concerts in the park

• WINTERGUARD:
• Does anybody have any information of what is going on in Winterguard?
• 1st show in Bellflower
• DRUMLINE:
• Drumline T-shirts – Barbara Copeland – Thx Paul!  He would like a picture of the whole group in their shirts.
• Saturday, 2/27 – Rehearsal from 10:00am – 2:00pm
• Congratulations for winning 1st prize at the 2/6 competition at Valencia HS.
• Next few competition will be:
• 2/20 WGI Regional @ Riverside King HS
• 3/13 SCPA @  Aliso Nigue

• CONCERT BAND:  Does anybody have any information of what is going on in Concert Band?
• ORCHESTRA:  Fees waived this year (no extra instructors and only one concert)
• Logistics and Equipment:  Registration on Van
• Round Table:  Round table: 4th of July fireworks – Tom?????  I say yes!!!!
• Next booster Meeting:  March 9th, 7:00 – Choir Room (room subject to change)
